Trademark News & Screw-ups Amber Rose Is Reportedly Working On Her Own Sex Toy Empire

Isn't it funny how now we can find out about savvy businesses' and entrepreneurs' plans from their trademark applications? They don't want to take the risk of building up the brand first and hoping and praying that it's available after. They don't want to invest their time, money, and energy building an asset that some unscrupulous jerk could snatch from under their nose. This piece of news actually reminds me of a Powerpoint slide I use in my presentations. It features an image of a condom with the title: "Protects the brand BEFORE use" and the subtitle says, "Applying for a trademark is the only way to claim rights to the brand before it becomes widely known." You see, the timing when you decide to use some protection matters.
