Trademark News & Screw-ups Aspen chef accused of trademark infringement

Using trademarks to certify others can easily be a multi-million-dollar business. No wonder there's a big fight between two entities that certify chefs as Certified Executive Chefs and Certified Master Chefs. American Culinary Federation has trademarked the terms. Would be interesting to see how Jimmy Nadell will be able to prove that somehow his rights in these trademarks should prevail. But I guess, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!
