It's going to be a short trademark battle if it ever goes to court. Trademarks protect not just against identical copies but also against look-alikes, sound-alikes, and even mean-alikes. From the trademarking perspective, Giant Ass Beers is virtually the same as Huge Ass Beers. What is interesting in this situation is how in the world Huge Ass Beers managed to get their federal trademark registered, given that USPTO is notorious for throwing out trademark applications with a hint of obscenities?
