In my earlier comment about this dispute, I wrote, "If this alligator logo is confusingly similar to the beaver logo, then what isn't?" I still don't see how the two are confusingly similar. Somehow, attorneys managed to convince the jury that potential customers, when seeing the logo with the alligator, may be led to believe that the restaurant services in such an establishment are rendered by the same owner as in those restaurants that have the beaver logo on them. Wonder if the losing party will take it all the way through appeals.
