Trademark News & Screw-ups Crafty Lion seeks trademark for 'dank' beer

Lion's representatives stated, "It's incorrect though, to say that by registering Dank [as a trademark], we're seeking to prevent the use of the word by other brewers." Hmmm. What else are you seeking to accomplish by registering the word as a trademark? UPDATE: now that the trademark application has been abandoned, it's a moot issue. However, it serves as a good lesson to only apply for those trademarks that you would care to pursue if your desire to trademark a brand became known to the general public.
