Trademark News & Screw-ups Dr. Dre Loses Trademark Battle With Gynecologist Dr. Drai

I'm wondering whether Dr. Dre was more concerned about Dr. Drai being a gynecologist or about Dr. Drai's trademark referring to Dr. Drai as a "media personality." In other words, is there an underlying dispute as to which of the two men has seen more female genitalia? Or is Dr. Dre more concerned with Dr. Drai rubbing the media personality into Dr. Dre's face? Either way, from the pure trademarking perspective, "Doctor Drai OBGYN & Media Personality" does not look like a particularly strong trademark to me. I mean, who are you going to use it against? Looks like the only purpose of the trademark filing was to attract the wrath of Dr. Dre and the media attention that ensued therewith.
