Trademark disputes between former music band members are usually very nasty. There's so much personal baggage between them—and trademark claims are often just another way to say, "You're not showing enough respect to my legacy" Add to that a myriad of verbal contracts and silent arrangements—and you get a perfect recipe for an ugly fight. But it generates the PR that the band has long missed.
