Yes, the name NEW JERSEY FUTURE is descriptive. But if their lawyers can prove that as a result of operating for over 30 years a substantial number of people associate the name with a particular company, they may be able to win. The real question is if the legacy of the name is so important to you, why haven't you bothered to trademark the name since 1987?
