I'm going to teach you how to do the trademark dance. And this is the answer to the question we get all the time, What do most companies trademark?
There are four things that are most commonly trademarked.
And as I said, we are going to learn them through the trademark dance. So here's how it goes
And by the way, don't worry, you can master it. I am the worst dancer on the planet. If I can do it, you can do it.
So here is how it goes.
I need you to get up and look straight ahead.
The first thing you're going to do is raise your right hand, look at it and say, Product name.
Then you're going to lift your left hand, look at it and say, Service name.
Then you're going to raise your right knee, look at it and say, Logo.
And then you're going to raise your left knee and say Tagline.
So this is how it goes: Product name, Service name, Logo, Tagline. Product name, Service name, Logo, Tagline...
You get the point.
What matters is, there are 4 common things that are being trademarked: product names, service names, logos, and taglines.
I hope this helps.
