How can you check if your trademark is available?

Watch the video below to know if your brand is trademarkable.

Let me tell you a secret.

The easiest way to find out if your brand is trademarkable is to fill out the form at and our trademarking professionals are going to look at it and we're going to tell you if your brand is trademarkable.

For free.

Doesn't get any better.

And the reason you'd want to have somebody else do it for you is that there are a lot of moving parts to what is involved in the decision of whether your brand is trademarkable.

It's not just the absence of other identical trademarks on the register. It's a lot more than that. When we do the trademark search we also look at similar trademarks, we also look at trademarks that sound the same, that mean the same thing, that look the same or similar. We also look at whether the products and services covered by your trademark would be confusingly similar with the products and services in those other trademark applications.

We also look at a lot of formal issues like descriptiveness, genericness, whether your trademark would violate some other rules. There are a lot of moving parts.

So don't make these decisions by yourself unless you're 100% sure that you know how to interpret the results that you see.

And really, if you do know how to interpret those results, you probably shouldn't be watching this video because you already know more than 99% of business owners out there.
